Milgro Group can look back on a strong first half of 2018. Net income showed a growth of approximately 40% compared to the first 6 months of 2017. The revenue growth was even significantly higher.
With the results achieved, the trend-based development of the previous years will be continued. For example, net income for the whole of 2017 increased by 30%, while EBITDA almost doubled to more than 1.4 million euros. “The strategy adopted to further accelerate growth is bearing fruit,” says Ruud Hageman, co-CEO of Milgro. “The positive thing is that the growth is widely spread. We are achieving better results in all our target markets and we expect to be able to continue in this direction, with revenue growth towards 40 million euros over the whole of 2018. The emphasis in our value creation will gradually shift further in the coming years to our role as a technology and data partner. We are therefore further increasing investments in our digital platform. "
Laurens Groen, founder of Milgro and co-CEO, is also positive. “We notice that our position at the heart of the circular economy constantly brings new opportunities. In the Netherlands, but certainly also beyond. The dynamics are great and this requires a high degree of scalability, adaptability and entrepreneurship from our organization. We want to take steps in this every day. In the first half of the year we succeeded in this well ”, says Groen.
