Milgro has committed itself as a sponsor to Sil Hoekstra (instagram.com/sil_hoekstra), one of the greatest Dutch talents in windsurfing.
Sil has been trying to reach the top in his sport since he was 8, just like his parents did before. His mother took bronze at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics, while his father won several world titles. Sil is now one of the greatest talents in this global sport.
“Sil is very ambitious and driven. In his sport he is constantly looking for a connection with nature, not fighting against the elements, but looking for the ultimate symbiosis ”, says Laurens Groen, CEO of Milgro. “With that he symbolizes what Milgro stands for: connecting the world to mother nature. Our ambition is a green ocean of sustainably profitable circular chains. To achieve that, it is essential to want to do better every day. Just like Sil, who does everything to reach the absolute world top and make his dream come true. We are happy to support him in this under the motto 'Bee.connected' ”.
