As of January 1, 2021 Wim van Lieshout has been appointed as commissioner at Milgro, the technology company for natural capital management.
Wim van Lieshout is an experienced, competent manager who has amply won his spurs in the Dutch waste and recycling market. After graduating from Delft University with a degree in Civil Engineering and from TSM Business School with an MBA, he was employed at power company Essent and TwijnstraGudde, an organizational consultancy firm, to manage HVC-Afvalenergiecentrale (Waste and energy plant) as a CEO from 2005-2017. Wim currently works, from his consultancy firm Waste & Energy STrategies (WEST), as the project director of Porthos, the CO2 transport and storage project in Rotterdam. In addition, is holder of several commissioner's posts, including at AEB.
Milgro's management is pleased with Van Lieshout's arrival, who will be the first commissioner in the 27-year history of the Rotterdam-based company.
