Euromaster Nederland, a network of service and sales points for tires and car maintenance with national coverage, has outsourced waste and raw materials management to Milgro. The optimization phase that has now started aims to improve financial and sustainability performance.
After a successful pilot in 2016, Euromaster has outsourced the entire waste management of all 92 locations to Milgro as of January 2017. In the first phase, the focus was mainly on providing insight into and transparency of all waste flows. Now that all waste flows are registered and Euromaster always has up-to-date insight into the flows, we have started implementing improvements. The collection structure is optimized in order to further reduce waste costs. In addition, the separation behavior with regard to the residual flows will be improved to enable reuse and high-quality recycling.
