Ever since the foundation of the Stichting Samen Tegen Voedselverspilling (formerly Taskforce Circular Economy in Food), Milgro has been one of the participants in this joining of forces of knowledge institutions, companies and government. The aim of the foundation is to reduce waste in the Dutch food chain by half by 2030.
During the annual event of the foundation, with the theme “Pure Profit”, Milgro presented its proven successful approach, which is based on unique technology and data. In this way, avoidable loss of value can be made transparent and reduced, thereby achieving both ecological and economic benefits.
The success of the Milgro method was illustrated by means of two appealing cases from clients The Greenery and FrieslandCampina.
