Collaboration between Milgro and Nyenrode University

On December 1, Milgro and Nyenrode University signed a cooperation agreement. The core of the collaboration is that Milgro will sponsor Prof. John Koster's chair in Marketing, Organization and Implementation for the next three years.

The sponsorship focuses on a number of research themes that are part of the chair and that are relevant and important to Milgro. Examples include the application of an agile strategy, sustainability marketing and the implementation of digital and online marketing. Possible activities arising from these topics include providing workshops, lectures, brainstorming sessions, network meetings, round table discussions and case studies.

Nyenrode is the only business university in the Netherlands, founded for and by the business community. "Collaboration with our sponsors is crucial for conducting practical, applied research and for developing new educational programs," said John Koster. “We are particularly pleased that a highly innovative company like Milgro is joining Nyenrode. Milgro is a real leader when it comes to innovative business models and digital transition. The company has succeeded in practically translating concepts from the circular economy into sustainable commercial success, and we can learn a lot from that. ”

Ruud Hageman, COO of Milgro, is also pleased with the collaboration. "We believe in the power of partnerships, also with knowledge and research parties. Nyenrode University is an internationally leading institute, especially in the field of business, strategy and leadership. Themes that reflect our ambition of sustainable raw materials management and in the context of the The circular economy is becoming increasingly important, so we look forward to further cooperation with John Koster and his team. ”
