Milgro and waste service provider Van Happen Containers have fully integrated their operational processes based on Electronic Data Interchange. Orders, order confirmations, export information and invoices are now fully digitally exchanged between both companies.
Milgro is the link between disposers (companies that dispose of used raw materials) and recipients (waste and recycling companies) and does this based on a unique technology. Applying a generic API in collaboration with waste service providers is a new step and makes operational processes more efficient and easier. This reduces costs, increases processing speed and minimizes the risk of errors.
Ruud Hageman, CEO of Milgro, is pleased with this development. “Application of this technology is an excellent example of win-win cooperation. Both parties benefit from improvements in efficiency and quality, resulting in lower costs. We are therefore pleased with Van Happen as a launching partner, ”says Hageman.
“We have contributed constructively to this digitization, which is unique within the waste market, and this shows that we find it important to innovate. In addition, the application provides savings, as the operational communication for several customers is fully automated in one go, ”says Mark van Happen(Van Happen Containers).
