Material flow analysis (MFA): what can you expect?

Milgro offers customised Material Flow Analysis to help companies and governments understand and optimise their material flows. Using this systematic, quantitative method, we analyse an organisation's flows and inventories. In doing so, we first delineate the system within which we look at the flow of materials. Is that a country, a region or a company? Then we collect information on all incoming and outgoing flows of raw materials, semi-finished products, finished products and waste, as well as stocks.

When we process and visualise all the data, trends and patterns of material flows appear. With this analysis, we can identify bottlenecks and opportunities in the system and design an action plan for adjusting policies and setting up a raw materials strategy. This way, you work more efficiently, sustainably and forward-looking.
