Is your company already handling waste management efficiently and flexibly? Milgro offers the tools for optimal waste management. For this, we not only deploy smart software, but also offer the corresponding waste hardware. With the right collection tools and insight into your waste process, your company takes an important step towards the circular economy.
Waste hardware: different types of equipment
Optimal waste handling requires different types of collection equipment, such as containers, compactors and pallet boxes. Milgro has a flexible range of various types of waste hardware, which always matches your current business process. The flexible use of varying collection equipment offers a number of advantages.
Many companies produce multiple types of waste. For each waste stream, you can deploy the most appropriate means of collection. Thereby Milgro takes into account the amount of waste: only well-filled containers leave your company.
Flexible deployment of equipment
Do the waste processes in your company change with regularity? Then flexible collection means offer a solution. Milgro thus offers solutions that serve the agreed performance.
The flexibility in the deployment of equipment provides your company with cost and environmental performance savings. After all, you do not have to pay for waste hardware you do not use or for unnecessarily empty transports. Thanks to our flexible solutions, we manage the process of your waste streams and effortlessly adapt to changing circumstances.
Occasional use of waste hardware
Does a malfunction occur? Does something go wrong? Do you have a breakdown day? Then you can call in an occasional order from Milgro. Thanks to our wide range of waste hardware, we can quickly switch to a suitable collection device. With our wide network, we always find the right processor for your occasional waste stream. This way you can rely on Milgro for the most desirable processing of your order.
Types of waste hardware
Milgro supplies the most diverse solutions in the field of waste hardware. You can think of the following collection equipment:
- Roll containers: these mobile containers are suitable for collecting PD, paper and cardboard or other types of waste. Easily movable.
- Wire mesh containers: these steel boxes are available in different sizes and models. The walls made of strong wire mesh offer a lot of carrying capacity. Mesh containers without contents can usually be folded down, taking up little space.
- Pallet boxes: these plastic or wooden boxes protect goods or waste well during transport. Pallet boxes are well stackable and easy to transport with a forklift.
- (Foil) Bag Holders: this lightweight collection device provides hold for foil bags, for collecting plastic waste. Foil bags and bag holders are available in various sizes. A common size is 400 liters.
- Compactors: for when your business produces large waste streams that are too costly to dispose of by roller container, for example. Think of industrial balers, stationary balers, self balers or screw balers. All aimed at compressing and compacting waste as much as possible.
- Roller packers: this large rotating roller makes it possible to compact large quantities of waste in open containers. Thus, the air disappears and the waste retains only a fraction of its original volume.
- Dock frames for disposal containers: for easy creation of a loading dock for containers.
- Valve containers: these large capacity containers have a valve in the bottom, which allows the container to be emptied.
Smart hardware
With smart hardware, Milgro deploys smart technologies to make your waste process even more effective. Consider:
- Measure container fill rates automatically.
- Smartly plan return logistics to reduce transport.
- Measure internal waste logistics: what is the optimal location of containers? This saves time and simplifies waste separation.
- Weigh and register waste, to gain insight into how waste can be prevented. Think of ingredients that fall off a conveyor belt and cannot be reused.
- Weigh roll containers by department. This provides insight into waste streams from different departments or customers. It is also possible to measure waste streams on the trolley.
Separating waste is people work
Optimal waste separation on the shop floor remains people work. Milgro gladly advises on the most efficient and simple process possible. Clear communication with signs and stickers reduces the margin of error enormously. Thus we make waste separation easier than simply throwing away waste.
Waste management training
Even though you are doing so well with Milgro's digital solutions for smart waste management: your employees ultimately make it a success. Separating waste remains people work. Fortunately, everyone can learn. In an (online) training Milgro teaches your employees to separate waste streams effectively and quickly. Interested?
