Livestock farmers often mix the feed for their livestock themselves and store the dry raw materials, such as soy, wheat, barley or compound feed in animal feed silos. The silos are seamless and have a mirror-smooth inside, so that the contents flow out smoothly.

Over the past decade, the number of farms in the Netherlands has fallen by 30 percent. Aging is the main cause of this decline. As a result, many agricultural materials and products end up for sale and even on the waste heap.

There is not yet a sustainable recycling solution, so a lot of fiber reinforced plastic is burned or ground into filler for concrete or asphalt.

The popularity of our coffee bar shows that good coffee is valued at Milgro. Incidentally, the bar also turned out to be an excellent location for a small Friday afternoon drink.

The coffee bar is fully equipped. The coffee machine stands on a griddle of an old staircase and two old VFG bins serve as storage space for tea and sugar.

In a previous life, the stacked stools, which can be placed on the bar as a bar stool, stood in the chemical room at Laurens Groen college.
