You want to do something good for the earth? We ensure that your company can operate in a truly sustainable manner with our certified products. This is because sustainability, safety and quality are of paramount importance to us. We set high standards for establishing a compliant and sustainable waste process for our clients in the Benelux. We believe it is only logical that this includes high standards of certification. More information about certification? Make an appointment.
We subscribe to the importance of certification and look beyond the requirements set by legislation. The result is continuous development in our services. This is in line with our mission to shape the resource transition as (chain) director.
Need support on specific waste legislation? You have come to the right place. We also have extensive knowledge about the new sustainability legislation CSRD. In addition, you can use our data for your audits.
Do you want insight into managing waste streams and directing the waste process? Digitalization is the magic word! We offer you comprehensive reports, continuity and compliance with waste laws and regulations.
Understanding your company's environmental and economic performance is crucial in making informed decisions. Management reports, compliance reports and CO2 dashboards should not be missing.
In your industry there is most likely a requirement for certification. Milgro advises and guides you in certification processes, and we can sometimes act as gatekeeper, as in the case of GMP+.
"The cooperation with Milgro ensures that we have clear insight into our waste streams and costs. For each individual site, we have customized reports that provide input for realistic and achievable improvements. This includes a good balance between the focus on developing sustainability / circularity aspects and economic feasibility."
Ad Wirken, Procurement Manager at De RuwBouw Groep
ISO9001
Milgro meets the outline for ISO9001:2015. ISO9001 is an international quality standard in which the requirements to make the quality management system standardized, measurable and verifiable are secured.
Milgro pursues a high level of quality and has therefore set up a quality management system and environmental management system (see ISO14001). The ISO9001 management system is laid down in the ISO9001 quality manual.
ISO14001
Milgro meets the outline for ISO 14001:2015. ISO14001 is the internationally recognized standard for environmental management and the environmental management system. The standard focuses on securing risks and continuously improving processes. This standard provides a guideline for achieving sustainability goals and the system for their implementation.
GMP+FSA
GMP+ FSA stands for Good Manufacturing Practice Feed Safety Assurance and contains, in addition to legal requirements, also supra-statutory requirements agreed upon with chain parties, which are imposed on animal feed. GMP+FSA is the standard for certifying quality systems in the animal feed industry and assures the safety of animal feed.
Because Milgro actively valorizes residual streams at a higher value, including animal feed and thus occupies a position in the food chain, we have a quality system, which is laid down in a GMP+ FSA quality manual.
ISO27001
ISO27001 is a globally recognized standard for information security. It was tightened with the entry into force of the AVG in 2018 and aims to ensure the security, confidentiality, availability and integrity of all information.
It is very important to Milgro that data we control is protected at the highest level without compromising the effectiveness, flexibility and efficiency of our services. Milgro has set up an Information Security Management System (ISMS) and is certified according to ISO27001. Here too, Milgro distinguishes itself in the broad degree of certification and unburdening towards clients and partners.
VIHB
A VIHB registration is a registration on the list of companies engaged in transporting, collecting, trading and/or brokering industrial waste or hazardous waste in the Netherlands.
ISO standards
Although Milgro is not ISO certified for all processes and activities, we use ISO standards such as LCA Method (ISO14040) and the standards under development around monitoring circular economy and measuring food waste as a blueprint for the further optimization of our services.
Since certification is not the holy grail for us, handholds in the market for careful waste and resource management combined with data management are an important factor. Our ambition to get more value out of the raw materials used in company processes is of great importance in this and the ultimate goal.
OVAM Milgro now operates in several European countries. Here it happens that we also use certification from across the border, such as the in Belgium important organizations OVAM and VLAREMA. Whoever transports, collects or trades waste is bound by a number of rules, as included in VLAREMA, the Flemish regulation on the sustainable management of material cycles and waste and is registered with OVAM.
