What will you be doing?

As a .NET Developer/Architect, you will be responsible for expanding and transforming the applications developed by Milgro to the next level architecture required to achieve Milgro's goals. The applications are actively evolving to support the further growth, digitalization, and internationalization of Milgro. You will be part of the ICT Scrum team actively designing and developing with the latest tools in the Microsoft stack.

You will also ensure optimal architecture, cybersecurity, and performance of the Milgro Platform (web and mobile apps, EDI, and data landscapes) developed and managed within Milgro. Furthermore, you should be capable of analyzing new functional needs, proposing effective solutions, communicating, and implementing them.

The ideal candidate

  • Holds a completed and relevant higher professional education (HBO) or university education (WO) in Information Technology."
  • Has knowledge of Kubernetes Clusters (Azure), including Ingress and the tools and components offered in Azure.
  • Has a minimum of 6 years of relevant and compelling experience in architecture and application development.
  • Has solid knowledge and experience in developing software on the Microsoft .Net platform (C#, Blazor, ASP.Net Core, Javascript, REST APIs, SQL Server).
  • Possesses in-depth knowledge and experience in system development techniques, tools, and principles (Microsoft Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, Scrum, CI/CD, SOLID, automated testing).

  • Has knowledge of and experience with modern design and development methods for scalable solutions (e.g., DDD, Microservices, Cloud computing, APIs, Web services).
  • Has worked in Agile teams and has experience working in a DevOps team.
  • Has a passion for the developer's profession, is driven to stay updated on current developments in the field, and wants to apply and share them with colleagues.
  • Is socially skilled and excels in collaborating in a compact team to deliver results.
  • Possesses a 'can-do' mentality and enjoys working in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficient verbal and written business English at a professional level is required.
  • Experience with modern front-end frameworks is a plus.
